चिली में 6.4 तीव्रता का भूकंप, बुनियादी ढांचे को मामूली नुकसान, कोई हताहत नहीं

India News Live, Digital Desk : उत्तरी चिली में शुक्रवार को 6.4 तीव्रता का तेज भूकंप आया, जिससे इलाके में हलचल मच गई। इस भूकंप के चलते बुनियादी ढांचे को हल्का नुकसान हुआ है और 20,000 से ज्यादा लोगों की बिजली सप्लाई ठप हो गई। राहत की बात यह रही कि किसी के घायल या हताहत होने की कोई खबर सामने नहीं आई है।
अमेरिकी भूवैज्ञानिक सर्वेक्षण (USGS) के मुताबिक, भूकंप दोपहर 1:15 बजे (स्थानीय समय) आया और इसका केंद्र अटाकामा रेगिस्तान के तट के पास, जमीन से लगभग 76 किलोमीटर की गहराई में था।
भूकंप की तीव्रता इतनी अधिक थी कि अटाकामा रेगिस्तान के कई इलाकों में इसे महसूस किया गया। हालांकि शुरुआती रिपोर्टों में किसी तरह की जनहानि की पुष्टि नहीं हुई है, लेकिन प्रशासन सतर्क है और हालात पर नजर बनाए हुए है।
